System is forzen by antialiasing

Hi,

I've built and installed KDE 3.2 with qt from source. When I set the font antialiasing and restart KDE it locks up just in the last step of the initialization. I see the little initial status window with 100 % and the bar at the edge of the screen but without icons. That's all. Has any one met this problem yet?
