KDE 3.2 upgrade broke my Canon printer

I recently upgraded to KDE 3.2 and now my Canon i860 printer won't work. This printer is attached to a Windows 2k server box. I can set the printer up using the KDE print manager, which finds the printer when it scans the network. Of course there is no exact driver.

I've tried various drivers and can see a Remote Downlevel Document appear in the Windows print queue, but nothing prints. The Win Server event log either says:

"Document xx, Remote Downlevel Document, owned by Administrator was deleted on Canon i860"

or if I'm lucky

"Document xx, Remote Downlevel Document, owned by Administrator was printed on Canon i860 via port LPT1. Size in bytes 14252; pages printed 0."

Of course, nothing prints. The kicker is that this printer has worked GREAT for the last six months until I upgraded KDE. Has anyone gotten this printer to work?

BTW, I tried that Turboprint driver... didn't work either.
