[Debian SID] KDE Does not remember Window Positions

Hello!
I'm pretty new to KDE but I really love most of it. However there is one glitch on my system that almost drives me nuts:

Every window always appears in the upper left corner of the screen, no matter where it was when I closed it.
Why?

Well, I know I could use 'Advanced'->'Store Window Settings' for every application but since the workspace is also saved
the windows often won't appear in sight the next time.

I am using a bleeding-edge KDE 3.2 from
deb http://rs.fuzz.nl/muesli/686/kde_head/ unstable/
and
deb http://people.debian.org/~bab/kde-3.2 ./

All packages are upgraded to the newest versions available through these apt sources.

Thanks,
FnordPerfect

Have a look at this option: right click a title bar, go to Moving and there you'll find an option called Placement. Probably it's set such that it places windows in the top left.
