I don't understand your question, if I am right, when I click on KDE menu to log off I get the option to Logg Off, Shutdown or Restart. Make the selection and click OK

have always installed and configured the lastest KDE on Suse with konstruct. I never used the packages before.

Try it out it's very easy to use.

It think it's just something unique to Mandrake, because remember having the same thing on Mandrake. Try changing your display manager from MdkKDM to KDM or GDM in the Mandrake Control Center.

Hi tuxnet,

I have tried that to with SuSE 8.2 to get KDE 3.14. I got only errors from the compiler 3.23prerelease Struggle with the compiler update, QT update etc I gived up.
Now is there KDE 3.2. for 8.2. Got it from SuSE and put it in a directory for Kpackage.
Tried to test install and got errors for missing kdebase3-suse <=9.0.
SuSE s..cks this way. SuSE versus KDE is not compatible for upgrading so
if you had succes with konstruct tell me what you realy did to get it running.

if you change to Kdm, you will be given the selection of Restart, Turn Off and Log Off
