No german language available

I just installed KDE3.1.1 (yes I had it on CD for a long time) over my existing 3.0 KDE. Everything works fine, except the language...

Dialogs are a mixture of german and english text. If try to set the language, the only options I am presented with are: "english (gb/us), polish and french., but not german.

I'm using RH8.0, with german as the default language and englich, french and polish support also installed.

What can I do, to get "german" working properly?

Thanks in advance

Gerhard

Install the kde-i18n-de package of the new KDE version.
