KDE problem

Hello,

I run KDE 3.1.1 on SuSE 8.2. For once I thought I would try and enter KDE through the failsafe option at start up. When doing this I get an error message -

kbuildsycoca running ...
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding
ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCP communication error!
QClipbord::setData: Cannot set X11 selection owner for PRIMARY

Can anyone tell me (a Linux novice) what this means and how I put it right?

Donald

Don't know

I don't know why you get this problem, so I can't really help you. However, I get a problem that seems to be somewhat similar to yours (http://www.kde-forum.org/viewtopic.php?t=2112), so if you find a solution, please let me know. :-)
