menudrake problem

When i install some new software,then it should automaticlly appear in K menu ,but not in my maschine.For example: i just installed KOffice 1.3 and i can see KOffice menu items in Menudrake ,but not in K menu.When i try to Save the new menu ,then i got an error.
Is there any place i can look to find some info about it.
Using; Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-4mdk, KDE 3.2
anyway ...i guess so
