No icons and kcmshell crashing

I recently updated some drivers and in order to free up some space on / , I moved some icon files around, then moved them back. Strangely, now I have no icons when I start up KDE. I'm running Mandrake 9.2.

I tried to fix the icons by going to the appropriate menu choice, but all I get is a crash of kcmshell. Here's the crash info:

(no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... [repeated 24 times]
0x40f92656 in waitpid () from /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
#0 0x40f92656 in waitpid () from /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
#1 0x4067f33a in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler(int) ()
from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4

Help?
What I've tried already: moving all the icons back to the right spot, doing an upgrade with my Mandrake 9.2 CDs, and asking on LinuxQuestions.org :wink:

Would reinstalling kcmshell help? If so, how can I do that -- I looked for RPMs but I'm not sure where to find them (or source for that matter).
