Is there a program to show keyboard layout? Like arabic?

Hi folks,
I´m really happy KDE hast bidirectional support for languages like Persian or Arabic but my problem is that I only have a German keyboard so I dont know which letter is on which key. On my Mac OS X there is a nifty program that shows my keyboard on screen with all the actual layout keys. Same with windows. And normally there is XChar or so which does the same for latin keyboards but wouldn´´t with Arabic. So is there an easy way to get the layout on screen? Any programs that I couldn´t find yet?
Thanks in advance,
KBibelBiber.
