menu crash

I am new to linux.

I just installed lindows on my computer. The problem is that when I try to access a menu e.g. right clicking on the desktop or clicking the file menu in star office, the system hangs.

The only thing I can do is move the mouse. No keyboard shortcuts work either. I am very interested in trying linux but this is frustrating because I cannot do anything on my computer.

HELP!!

Hmm that's really strange. It would be interesting if this is lindows specific or not. If you like you can download the mandrake distribution. (you only need 1 CD not all 3)
Otherwise try to ask someone at lindows perhaps they already know this problem.
