setting an application icon in KDE

Bonjour

How do I set an application icon in KDE 3 ? I'd like a special icon to be displayed while the taskbar when the app is running, instead of an common XFree icon, which is shown when I use phoenix/firebird or realplayer for example

Thanks beaucoup !

you probably have to add the icons to the theme you are using atm.

for example,

/usr/share/icons/themeName/32x32/apps/iconName.png

and for all the other resolutions as well

And perhaps you have to set the icon name in the .desktop file of the application

This for examples is from katomic.desktop

[code:1]
Icon=katomic
[/code:1]
