cannot open file or file dont exist!

Hi every one!

well i am experiencing a little(?) problem...

i cant open anymore my start here shortcut on the desktop (red hat 9+kde), an error message appear : cannot open file or file dont exist....

at the same time my trash dont open at all!!!!!

what should i do?

HEEELPPPP! please!

Do you have a Desktop directory in your Home-Directory and is there a Trash folder in it?

well.....

if i use konqueror to browse my home directory, i can go to the start here folder and i can access the trash.

the problem only appear when i try to access them from the destop.

:(

Check your Home-Dirctory in a shell. Does a "Desktop"-Directory exist and do you have write-permissions at it?
