"Sending SIGTERM to children kdeinit:EXIT"

I'm new to Linux and KDE - so am looking for some help. I use KDE as my default desktop app and upon logging out I receive the following error message:

"Sending SIGTERM to children kdeinit:EXIT"

I then have to hit ENTER to get to the text prompt. Is this supposed to happen? Is there a way around this message? Can anyone help me with this issue?
