Can't stop sound in kde

Hi all,

I just installed kde 3.1.1
I'm having trouble with the sound. I cannot disable it.
I turn off everything concerning sound in control center, log out, even reboot but i still have the sound on.

What I want to to disable in priority is the windows events.

Thanks for any help

Stop sound

Rightclick on speaker that is in systray and you will find 'Mute' menu item. If you don't have speaker in your systray you can start it by launching kmix - once you have done it you will have it in your systray every time.
