Bento Modular Touchscreen Laptop Concept

This very unique Sony Vaio F13Z0E/B Notebook concept from the imagination of US based designer René Lee, has been entered and shortlisted in the Fujitsu Design Awards. Lee’s concept integrates a notebook, tablet, and smartphone into a single modular device. Allowing them to all be used and individual components or by combining them all together into one device.
The main SONY VAIO EF Series VPCEF44FX/BI Notebook AMD Turion II Dual-Core P560(2.5GHz) 17.3" 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 640GB HDD housing would be equipped with a 15 inch OLED screen and then extra components would locate in shallow depressions with the mobile phone slotting in to the middle just below the larger touchscreen tablet. With a solar powered battery and 1TB SSD drive located in the corners.
Even when all the devices are docked as one, they could still be configured to the users preferences, depending on the applications in use. The design also suggests a way laptops of the future could easily be upgraded by simply replacing components that required an upgrade without ditching the whole device including the screen.
