I've seen this mentioned before elsewhere, but thought it should be here as well.

The idea of having each desktop be different is an old one. It's good that kde can do it. I want to have different wallpapers and icons on each desktop and that works.

But, I have one panel on the bottom of my desktop that has a bunch of things configured in it. It's my focal point for coordinating everything that's happening on my computer.

What I want is a checkbox/option for the panel plasmoid that says "appear on all desktops" just like the one that has been available for kde windows for a long time.

Without it, I have to separately define the panel six times - once for each of my desktops. And, if I change anything, I have to fix it in six places.

A partial solution/work-around would be the ability to cut/copy/paste plasmoids from one desktop to another.
