Digitally signing of emails fails in kmail

Hi,
I have installed Kleopatra and installed x.509 certificate on it. When I am going to sign and send an email, the pinentry program popups and ask "Please enter the passphrase to unlock the secret key of the x.509 certificate" and correctly gives the name of the certificate.
The problem is although I entered the correct password, pinentry program always says it is a "Bad Passphrase" and signing fails.

So far I was unable to figure out the cause of it. Any idea what will causing this?

KDE version 4.4.5
kmail version 1.13.5
kleopatra version 2.0.12

Thanks,
Harshana

Digitally signing of emails fails in kmail

I am able to use the same
without any problem in evolution. But kmail does not sign s/mime saying
'general error'. I have all the required certificates installed in
kleopatra and kmail has imported my digital certificate in
tools>certificate_manager. I have selected my digital cerificate in
kmail>settings>configure_kmail>Manage_Identities.
