kgamma on KDE 4.2.4

Kgamma does not appear in the "Graphics" section of my kicker, under KDE 4.2.4.
I do have a "Graphics" section in the kicker however. Should install kdegraphics-kde4 to correct this,
or what should I do to get kgamma working?

The packages I have found for kgamma explicitly, speak only of KDE 2 and KDE 3.

Using the "locate kgamma" command on my system shows a lot of kgamma files,
including a config file, but I can't seem to find an executable. Is there a special way to launch kgamma?

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Ok. Kgamma was already installed. To run it:

desktop > right_click > "kgamma"

How to open Kgamma on KDE 4.8.5 Kubuntu 12.04

I follow your instruction:

desktop > right_click > "kgamma"

But first I Install:

kgamma
kdegraphics

I gave then right clicked on the desktop, and then run order, and a search box appears, put there "Kgamma" and appears "Gamma", I gave click and a window which says: "Gamma control module KDE" and there are all options to adjust the brightness of the monitor. I served to adjust the brightness of an external monitor (I have a Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop) brand VA1931wa-LED Viewsonic model and worked perfectly on Kubuntu 12.04
