Why the safe password check?

Sorry for the title, but I got really irritated (i.e. :cursing: ) when creating a user account and the web form insisted that my password "was not safe".
It's not like I'm gonna leave the key to the gold reserves of my country in this profile.
Or that I am biting my nails worrying someone is gonna hack my password to post ridiculous messages in my name on the KDE-forum.

Please: Get a grip and let people choose a password of their own liking!

Hi,

because of the high amount of spam-postings it was necessary to create a secure registration process to be protected of bot-registrations!
