Konqueror-keeps opening in full screen

I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. Not sure what i did, but it was a while back and it caused konqueror to always start in full screen mode. This drives me NUTS! Yes, I have found the "Exit full screen" button and added that to a toolbar, but is there a solution that will just make konqueror open normally (non-full screen)? Thanks in advance!

you may have to delete ~/.kde/share/config/konquerororrc (configuration file)

if you have compiz installed like i did, this may not solve your problem. my konqueror and dolphin both opened fullscreen (if i deleted their configuration files as above it fixed to problem only until i opened the program a second or more times) you have to disable legacy fullscreen support in the workarounds plugin, and restart compiz. this fixed the problem for me
