system-config-printer-kde and gnome

Hi,
I started to install a KDE4 minimal system.

Later on, wanted to install the equivalent of Kprinter of KDE3, and found system-config-printer-kde.

I could not believe that this KDE printing system depends on plenty of gnome libraries, and needs to install 217MB of code !!!!

Does this mean that KDE will not develop a KDE printer management system ??

Sounds really weird, and a bit disappointed.
Any comment welcome.

RE: system-config-printer-kde and gnome

No answer ?? Really nobody knows ?

system-config-printer-kde seems to need these gnome libs:

gconf2 gconf2-common gksu gnome-icon-theme gnome-keyring gnome-mime-data libgconf2-4 libgksu2-0 libglade2-0 libgnome-keyring0 libgnome2-0 libgnome2-common libgnomecanvas2-0 libgnomecanvas2-common libgnomeui-0 libgnomeui-common libgnomevfs2-0 libgnomevfs2-common libgtop2-7 libgtop2-common python-gnome2

Is it a bug ? Or Kprinter for KDE4 not yet written and gnome used as a temporary solution ?
