Letters filled with image

Hello every happy Krita-masters! :) I am new here and new in Krita too.
I wonder if it is possible to make text filled with image in Krita? I mean, as if we could se a landscape through the letters and only the letters in an opaque field. There are special outline-fonts, like the font Babylon, suitable for this purpose. It is necessary to select the letters and get the same selection on the image-layer, delete the rest. I could not figure out this.
I could not reselect the letters for formating either. Laid text is laying :S ?

RE: Letters filled with image

I am no graphic artist, but I think it would behoove you to search for guides on how to do this in the GIMP and even in PS. The techniques should translate pretty well to Krita, different though it may be.
