Mount the CD-ROM

I have a reeeall basic question: I'm running KDE on top of PC-BSD and I need to know how to mount the CD-ROM. I haven't a clue. I'm installing BSD from a package I bought that has 2 discs in it and I assume the second one has some apps on it. Until I find out how to mount the CD-ROM I would not venture a guess what to do.

I think it would be great if someone could point me toward a very basic user's manual that includes elementary things that most people know so well they don't even mention them. Thanks guys.

have you tired in Konsole
mount /dev/cdrom
cdrom is in italic because you might have the cdrom in a different name
