kmail forward sends blank email

Hi all,

This is probably finger trouble on my part!

When I forward an email the recipient gets a completely bank page.
If I add a bit of text to the forward (eg Hi there FYI) the recipient
gets my text and the original message.

System is Ubuntu 6.06, Gnome (sorry!) desktop, Kontact 1.2.
H/w is Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop.

Is there is setting somewhere that's wrong.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Regards. Martin

Later additions.
Kubuntu behaves the same way.
It's also email dependant. Plain text forward OK.
HTML don't.
Martin

RE: kmail forward sends blank email

Hi, saw your message about blank forwards. It seems Kmail has been changed. It used to be that you could set up Kmail to automatically forward inline, not as an attachment. For unknown reasons you can no longer change this. In order to forward inline you can press CTRL-F or use the menu, message/forward inline. This is why I went to Thunderbird.

Hope this helps.
