kmail won't show message headers

kmail won't show message headers

I installed kontact and got my pop mail server to forward messages to kmail. The inbox and outbox shows there are messages, but it does not list of the individual messages so I can view them. If I do a search, I can find the message headers (it says they are from the local folders/inbox), but need to do a reply in order to see what was in the body of the original message. I am technically challenged, so any help would be appreciated. I am on Ubuntu 7.1, Thanks.
