how to resize plasma panel

Dear all,

How can I resize the plasma panel(bottom)?
I remembered that in KDE 3.x I can resize the panel by right clicking the panel and configure. But in KDE4 right clicking on the panel does not work.(can only remove applets)

Any hint or suggestion will be very appreciated.
Thanks and regards.

The same

I have the same problem and its very critical to find design, because panel is very huge.
My desktop monitor can do 1280x1024, but my laptop - only 1024x768, and it will be impossible to work with kde on it...
Any way, i used to see panel small and at the top of the screen

PS is it possible to move the panel up?
PPS sorry for my English, it's not my native language.
