Konsole number pad bindings

I'm wondering if anyone knows a setting to make Konsole interpret the number pad directional keys with num lock off (2, 4, 8, 6) differently from the arrow keys. The application I am using returns "\eOA" for both of them. I need to tie the number pad to one function in my application and the arrow keys to another. The application I am using is tintin++, a MUD client.

Using eterm (and a few other similar terms), I have no problems, but I like Konsole more and I'm having a slow go of it working with command line settings to change the font/look of eterm to something usable for my eyes.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
