Turn off (disable) an External Taskbar?

I'm a Windows user trying to make the switch to Linux. I originally installed Ubuntu 7.10, but found the GUI somewhat lacking. I then installed KDE on top of that and I find it much more intuitive.

I was playing around with the various Panels on the desktop when I added an External Taskbar (seems kind of redundant by the way). The problem now is I can't figure out how to turn it off ;)

All of the regular panels give you the option to 'Remove' or 'Delete'. For the life of me I can't figure out how to turn this one off.

Any help?

Thanks

You can right click and select remove, but it still doesn't bring back the app shortcuts to my regular panel. Can anyone help me?

RE: Turn off (disable) an External Taskbar?

I have a similar problem..

With my awesome mouse skills I have managed to remove the taskbar out of the panel at the bottom and can't for the life of me figure out how to get it back.

I can see how to manage panels with applets in kde 3.5 but for the life of I can't where to configure the panel in kde 4.

Cheers

RE: Turn off (disable) an External Taskbar? [SOLVED]

So by clicking on the desktop and then add widgets you can click on the minus sign next to the widget to remove it.

ALSO to get the task panel back, and any other widgets back into the panel you must right click on the desktop and click on Add Widgets. Then drag any widget from that dialog box to the panel to drop it in there.

It doesn't seem that once you drop the widget onto the desktop you can not drop it into the panel. Took me a while to figure out you go straight from the widget dialog to the panel.
