Kopete Keyboard Navigation

Hi there. I am discovering how to use kde without the mouse. One remaining mystery to me is this:

When I am using Kopete, and someone sends me a link, I would formerly simply click on the link (in the message dialogue window) and it would open in my browser. But how can I 'get into' the message dialogue window using the keyboard? I have tried many combinations with alt, control, arrows, tabs, etc.

I have a similar problem with scrolling in the message dialogue window. I can't see how to do it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

With thanks

Will
