Kopete behind proxy doesn't work

Kopete behind proxy doesn't work

Hi folks
I am using kubuntu 7.04. I am behind a proxy server (socks v.5) but cannot connect through kopete to messengers. There is no setting/option in it to provide proxy server address and port. I heard it is a known bug.
Is this problem going to be solved in KDE 4?
