Wireless interface automatically disables

I'm having difficulty connecting my kubuntu laptop to my home network.
Whenever I enable the interface, it automatically disables it.

I believe the settings for it are correct, but I don't know why it disables it in the kde control module.

If this question has been answered a bijillion times, please just link me to one. I did search for it.

This seems a KNetworkManager issue, which is typical for Kubuntu. I suggest you try the Kubuntu forums...

It actually turned out that I didn't have a good enough driver for the wireless card.
I appreciate your suggestion though.
