How to type Unicode characters?

Hi,

In Gnome you can type Unicode characters by holding Ctrl + Shift, typing the Unicode hex, and releasing Ctrl and Shift. (Which by the way is the ISO-14755 way of doing it!)

Is there a similar way of doing this in KDE? [KDE]
