RE: Myspace chat

trillian has myspace messenger in it. So I cant see why kopete can't. You can also use xfire on trillian. So just hold on a bit trillian is going to be avaible on linux, windows and Mac, just have to wait for it to come out of alpha go into beta and be released. I actually think trillian on linux will wipe kopete out. I plan to change to trillian simply for the myspace and xfire plugin

Myspace IM, kopete

ya know, some of use prefer to use Free Software rather then proprietary. So the fact that "trillian supports it" doesnt do us any good trying to do things the GNU way.

and to top it off i love kopete, more then pidgin/gaim and trillian is just too damn bloated for me.

personally I prefer to use software that is high quality and does what I want, which some KDE software does not do. You can sit around waiting for protocols to be added that other software already has and moan about wanting it, but i'd rather just use the others that already have it, lol.
