KDE HPLIP conflict

User of KDE for six month ago, I thanks all over developpers, programmers, correctors and any others participants to KDE project who permit today to more many users to agree to theses advantages.

I use KDE in a Fedora Core 6 distribution.

Recently, I have installed the new drivers pack HPLIP (source Hewlett Pacckard), first in version 1.7.3.

Its advantages gave me great satisfaction.

But, (yes, there is anyone...) any days after this installation, I saw than any KDE programs (like KPDF, KView, KDVI, KOOKA and others) was disappeared from the Graphics menu.

Logically, I proceed to re-install KDEGRAPHICS package : The applications were finded, but bad printing performs appears.

Please, can you help me to resolve this desagrement. I am a newer Linux user, so I need more details for process.

Thank you for your help

Your problem is a bit odd: how could installing hplip affect the .desktop files of kdegraphics?

And how can (re)installing kdegraphics affect the printing quality?

Both are not in any way related to each other..

Thank you for your answer,
Here is more details :
When I re-install Kdegraphics, Any code are not understand by the printer (graphics are Ok, but text is not printed).
When I install Hplip, 80 percent of programs of the menu graphics disappear, therefore impossible to reach it.
Thanks
