KDE-GDM-X11 shutdown crash

If I try logout or restart or shutdown in console the computer freeze!

A work with debian stable 2.4.33.3 everthing fine while I don't use X. Not matter what is the computer configuration. I try p2, p3, adm. Every kernel is ok(chipset, vga, sound, ide, lan). But I setup KDE the shutdown is fail.

I use STABLE packages, and KDE hungarian language packeges.

If I switch to console and stop the X (/init.d/gdm stop) it work 50%.
But 50% not work and when not work, everytime lost my kde profile because fsck find a lot of error.

Any idea?

RE: KDE-GDM-X11 shutdown crash

If you use NVidia or ATI drivers for 3D accelleration they are likely causing the problems. And then there's not much we can do then, sorry :(
