Kontact and KWallet

Hi all,

I'm having trouble figuring out how kontact and kwalletmanager work together. On my
old gentoo system, kwallet managed the passwords of 3 email accounts and 2 nntp acounts, without problem. I recently installed kubuntu edgy, and my old setup stopped manageing the email accounts (so I had to fill in 3 passwords). Originally, kontact/kwallet asked automatically whether I wanted to manage the account with kwallet for every authentication popup, but this time this only happened for the nntp accounts, not for the mail accounts.
So, automatic setup doesn't seem to work, and frankly I'd prefer setting things up manually anyway, but I have no clue as to how I can add accounts to be managed by kwallet. The documentation isn' t too helpful either. Anyone care to help? Thanks.
I.

There is a bug with Kubuntu 6.10 and kwalletmanager.
It is so strange that even don't using kwalletmanager for kontact and let it save the password by itself doesn't seem to work.

Unfortunately I'm not shure if it really works now. It doesn't feel so but try to load the updates.

If it's not fixed, you can try the following which helped me to store some passwords:

go to kwalletmanager properties,
deactivate automatic start,
restart KDE
activate atomatic start again.
