Automatic mount of USB key for multiple users

Hi,
We are two users on the same computer and always have our two KDE sessions opened at the same time (openSUSE 10.2 / KDE 3.5.5). This seems to create some problems concerning the automatic mount under KDE.

When a USB key is inserted, KDE detects it without any problem and opens a window on each desktop of the two users to ask what to do.

If one user asks to simply open it, the disk is mounted but the owner seems to be rather random. Sometimes, it is the user of the other session who didn't ask anything ! This is really not convenient because then the first user cannot write on the key.

Is it possible to change the group and the rights of all the USB keys which are automatically mounted by KDE ???

Thanks for your answer.

it might be possible, but i think you should hack into the configuration of HAL, wich does the actual mounting.
