kdm theming

Hi all,

I'm working on a kdm theme and I'm looking for a tutorial or howto or any kind of help for designing kdm theme. I have found nothing so far.
What I need is specifically all about the xml file and its content (available tags)

Thanks

RE: kdm theming

I don't think there's anything about that topic (maybe some loose bits here and there). The best source to learn it would be other themes and see how they do it.

RE: kdm theming

That is exactly what I did.

The funny thing is I spent hours testing my theme (coding xml/logout/login/modifying/logout etc.) and I just found some help about the greeter.dtd :

http://www.gnome.org/projects/gdm/docs/2.15/thememanual.html

and for the guys reading french :

http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/applications/personnalisation/gdm

and for those reading spanish :

http://www.techno.mayix.net/howto-gdm-theme/

So people looking desperatly for that stuff, bookmark ! ;-)

Hi...

I've read those documents but I still have a problem. I wish to use a kdm theme that has a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024, but my settings are 1152 x 864.

I tried to resize directly the file "background.jpg" but it didn't work. I guess I have to modify the .xml file, but I don't understand how...

Thanks a lot
