KAudioCreator won't rip multiple tracks at once

Hello, I'm attempting to use KAudioCreator to rip an audio CD into OGG format. I'm running KDE on Kubuntu Dapper Drake.

I insert the CD into the drive and the KDE Daemon pops up, I select "Extract and Encode Audio Tracks". KAudioCreator is launched. I click the "Select All Tracks" button then click the "Rip Selection" toolbar button.

At this point I click on the "Jobs" tab to view the ripping progress. The first track says "Ripping" all the way up to 100%, and then is removed from the jobs list. After this, none of the remaining jobs in the queue are ripped, but sit idle in the queue. Also, no Ogg directory is created in my home directory (I've left all of KAudioCreators default settings alone) and the track that was removed from the jobs queue was not actually ripped.

If I rip each track individually, everything works just fine. One thing I did notice when doing each tracking individually, the status in the Jobs tab would change from "Ripping" to "Encoding" while ripping the track. I did NOT notice this behavior when attempting to rip all tracks at once...it always said "Ripping".

Is this a bug in KAudioCreator? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'd really like to be able to select all tracks and click Rip Selection and go do something else while they are ripping, instead of ripping each track individually.

I don't know if there is a log file for KAudioCreator, but no error messages popped up during the process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Russ
