Bad font display

Hi!

I have come upon an annoying flaw in SuSE Linux 10.0 that I didn't have with SuSE Linux 9.3. However, I think the font display issue belongs to KDE itself because it's the frontend that is responsible for graphics display, but perhaps you know better. So the reason could be the different KDE versions!

I would like to exemplify that with the following two screenshots:

Bad one: (OpenOffice, but the example applies to most of the programs within Linux)

Good one: (with KPDF, which displays it independently (It's just PDF!)). That's the way SuSE 9.3 displayed all the text!

Perhaps you have to make sure that you are seeing the example in its original size (not a scaled version).

Thx
