[KOPETE] attach to the right of the screen?

heyho people.
i have suse 10.1, and kopete 0.10.

my question:
is there a way to stick kopete to the right (or left) side of my wide screen, so it is always on the top, not interfering with my other windows? i heard, lirc can.

(like trillian under windows can be attached to the right part of the screen, and all windows that come up resize themselves to fit the new screen size)
