Kmail Search on Date

I am an Evolution user considering switching to KMail. However, I find that I cannot make search folders based on date received/sent etc. For example, I would like to be able to search for all mails received since yesterday. This is easily accomplished with virtual folders in evolution. Am I missing something obvious? Can I do the same in KMail?

I can search for mail received on a specific date by typing the date in the Quick Search area. (Settings > Show Quick Search). For mail that I received yesterday, I input "Yesterday" as the search string. I'm not sure how to search for mail within a range of dates, though.
