After importing messages KMAIL started to work very slowly

After importing messages KMAIL started to work very slowly

After I imported messeges to KMAIL it started to act very slowly. I tried to expire old messeges but it didn't help.
Now I have about 150 messages in inbox but KMAIL still works much slower than Thunderbird with 600 messages.
What else can I do to increase speed of this program?
