[Kopete] Compiling kopete with Simply MEPIS

Hello, I'm trying to compile kopete 0.12.1 with Simply MEPIS.
When I do ./configure I got this error:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

I tried with some switch, as --disable-mt and --with-qt-libraries=/usr/share/qt3/lib but I got the same error each time...

Someone who tried with MEPIS can help me, please?

Regards
Massimiliano

RE: [Kopete] Compiling kopete with Simply MEPIS

did you install the Qt development packages? Those are required in order to compile Kopete. You might try something like 'apt-get build-dep kopete' from the command line and see if that helps.
