View TreeView - Make Default

hi. i realize there are a ton of different features for KDE, and etc.
i just want to know if it's possible to set a default view for when Konquerer opens to browse a folder. for example, if i use the top panel bookmarks link to a folder, i'd like for Konq to open with XYZ view. (most likely treeview, but maybe not...)

thanks!

Try setting the view you want (in Konqueror, go to View > View Mode > Tree View) and then going to the Settings menu and clicking "Save View Profile [the name of your profile]." You can set different view profiles in that dialogue. At least this is how things work in MEPIS Linux using KDE 3.5.
