Konqueror, pdf and OCR

My guess is that this is the least bad forum to post this in. I reinstalled my system the other day. It was and is Debian testing.

Gnome is my environment of choice, But I want to use Konqueror as my filebrowser (and Konsole as my console).

This time around though, I dearly miss the feature of opening pdf's in a tab and the ability to grab text and images through.

Please let me know what to install to rectify this problem.

RE: Konqueror, pdf and OCR

KPDF (supplied with KDE 3.4 and 3.5) is able to copy texts and paste them elsewhere. Make sure you open PDF files with KPDF.

Source code

apt-get install kpdf

My suggestion is pdf reader with a OCR recognition component. :) It is awsome.
