Kontact won't start after changes to Calendar (Resolved)

I tried to figure out how to download my Gmail calendar into Kontact automatically and put a URL into a dialog to search a server on startup. It was obviously the wrong thing to do because now Kontact won't start. Can I change some config files to fix this. If I need to uninstall and reinstall can I save my email configuration? Help!

RE: Kontact won't start after changes to Calendar

Not really part of the solution, but does the console spit out anything useful when you run Kontact with the GMail resource enabled?

To make Kontact start working again, you should remove the GMail resource. You can do this from the KDE Configuration Center, going to KDE Components->KDE Resources.
