Search Folders in KMail slow down my computer

Hi all,

I have two search folders in KMail (for Important and ToDos messages). The first time I created them all was perfect but after every restart they lost all the mails and start a new search slowing down my computer (actually the mails disappears even in the same session )
I tried to exit Kmail cleanly thinking that it was a problem with the way I close my laptop, but it is still the same behaviour.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

RE: Search Folders in KMail slow down my computer

Which version? Personally, I find KMail 1.8.3 (KDE 3.4.3) quite buggy when searching. I can't tell if this has been improved with KDE 3.5.x (KMail 1.9.x), but it's worth a try.

RE: Search Folders in KMail slow down my computer

Yes, sorry. I'm using kde 3.5.2 (Kmail 1.9.1) with Kubuntu 5.10. I had also problems with previous version of Kmail when using Virtual Folders. The searches go fine (it detects all the mails that I was searching for) and I can create the search folder. The problem is after Kmail restarts, because it starts the searches again X( and even in the same session.
