Kopete Proxy...

Can anyone tell me can kopette use a socks proxy?
Or how to make it work behind coporate firewall with only socks proxy enabled...
Distrib Mandriva 2006...

If you configure the global socks proxy settings in the KDE control panel, Kopete will use those settings.

However, getting this is highly dependant upon your KDE and Kopete version, since I don't think it was implemented until KDE 3.4 or later. (if i remember correctly) Which versions are you running?

I have KDE 3.4.2
It comes Default with Mandriva 2006 Linux distribution...
Kopette v 0.10.3 it is default with my distribution...

Ok I dont realy know how to setup my netywork specific Socks Proxy V5 it is in x.x.x.x port 1080 format... how can I write it in my KDE settings ???
