Web Sound and Page Console

I am using KDE 3.5 and Kubuntu. I have Firefox 1.5 and Opera 9.0 tp2 as browsers. I do not have sound in either. I did have until I messed around getting Java to work in a browser. I want to play a wav file on my page
"georgiatrailriders.com". I had to remove it because a friend was looking at my page at her work and the sound attracted her boss. (It was horses running) I need to set it with a console to turn it on by the viewer. But the first problem is getting the plugins back in the browsers. The Opera forum help begged off because he was unfamilier with KDE/Kubuntu. Can anyone help this Green Linux user?
